這一天終於要來臨︰ DBC 宣布於 2012 年 10 月 10 日晚上 20:00 中止廣播。 要數 DBC 的死因，可以數到二十萬個。從技術上來說，DAB+ 數碼廣播也許真的不適合香港這個密集的環境。在港鐵範圍內沒有訊號也就算了，DAB+ 連行車隧道亦不能覆蓋，已經足以趕走駕車人士（尤其是的士司機）了。再加上發射站功率受到限制、手機上網愈來愈普及等因素，對已經姍姍來遲的 DAB+ 數碼廣播亦相當不利。 也許數碼廣播在香港，真的不適合「新來者」參與的。 最令小弟感到可惜的是，DBC 交回的廣播牌照，政府應該沒有興趣再放給其他有心人，情況就好像當年佳視結業後，香港只剩下現在這兩間電視台。而有心人在香港要成立自主的傳播機構亦已經不太可能，即使政府願意發牌，可是大部分資金來源都掌握在紅色資本家的手裡……。
